This handsome daredevil just turned eleven years old in June!  After racing Go Carts for six
years and winning three Indiana State Championships and a second place,
Tyler Allen, from
Indianapolis, Indiana, became bored with go carts and decided to race Junior Sprints.  His
father, Rodger Allen (who has NEVER raced), bought him a 600 Mini Sprint that Tyler only raced
two times before wanting to go even bigger.  So his father bought him a Late Model!  Tyler has
raced in about thirteen races this year and he loves it.  He said he wasn't "here to win" tonight
but to get the experience and the points.  What he did do was entertain the crowd.  Everyone
had heard about Tyler in the stands and was cheering him on.  It was such a pleasure watching
this guy on the track.  He was so calm and seemed to have complete control of his car.  Keep
your eye on this guy, he could be a future NASCAR star!

In the last picture on this page is Late Model car #93 (behind #118).  I am so sorry I didn't get a
picture of
Zak Blackwood , from Columbus, Indiana, and Tyler Allen's friend.  Zak is only 13
years old and has been following the same path as his friend. Both boys are impressive drivers,
kind, and cute as can be!
